Summer Reading Log Challenge

June 1 - July 31st for up to $25 Due West Dollars!

…And a chance to receive other prizes from the public library and Ms. Airman in August!
Log online in Beanstack or use any paper log !

Rising 6th Graders can earn prizes at their CCSD Middle School for logging in Beanstack.
Try to read 20+ minutes a day
or at least 15 hours this summer!.

Visit the public library this summer to check-out lots of books! ...and find chances to win!
Our Due West Students ALREADY have a library account at any Cobb public library! LINK to Locations
At the check-out desk, students can give their name (and/or student number) to check out up to 5 books at a time on their account. Visit the Kemp Memorial Library across the street from Due West Elementary, or the West Cobb Regional Library (larger and less than 4 miles away)…or any branch! Start checking out now!

Login Instructions

LOG IN TO CLEVER:
Option 1 for Beanstack is to log in through Clever:
-Log in to CTLS: Go to www.cobbk12.org then click on Login at the top, then CTLS Learn.
-Click on Clever (if prompted with a choice, select "School Login")
-Click on Beanstack

Option 2 - Use the Beanstack Tracker App
Use your school/Cobb County Public Library account number to login to the "Beanstack Tracker" app on a mobile device (or this is the Beanstack login when not going through Clever):
-Find our school by typing "Due"
-Username: Student ID
-Password: 4-digit birthday (2-digit month; 2-digit day)

*LINK your school Beanstack to the public library Beanstack account by going to settings:
-Link Profile
-Select Cobb Public Library (GA)
-Then "Create Account" on the right
-Then Confirm Account

How to log reading minutes after you login to Beanstack:

Click on "Log Reading" at the top left.
Type in title, or author. Click on Scan Barcode or Manually Enter Title.
Select date.
Type in the number of minutes and then "m" for minutes or "h" for hour. For example: 33m or 1h
(No need to do a review!)
Click on "Log Reading" to finish.

Beanstack - Reading Challenge

Log at least 300 Minutes each month!
(about 10 minutes a day)
Earn badges along the way!
Random winners will be drawn in to earn prizes in the library!
Try writing a review about a book that you finished!

Beanstack can be accessed through CTLS Learn (click on CLEVER or Cobb Digital Library).

Once you are in Beanstack, click on the "Log Reading" button in red at the top left.
